At Positive Psychology and Psychotherapy we bring an integrative approach to our work with backgrounds in child psychology, Relationship counselling Christchurch psychotherapy, yoga, performing arts, nutrition, and natural medicine. This allows us to offer perspectives balanced with research, skill, and intuition. Together, we have over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in the health and education sector. This includes individual therapy sessions, facilitating group work, as well as providing professional development sessions and lecturing at the University of Canterbury.

I am a Registered Child and Family Psychologist Chch who has experience working with children, adolescents and families who have experienced psychological difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief or loss - some of which may manifest in behavioural difficulties such as aggression, self-harm, school refusal, issues with eating, sleeping, toileting, and separation from caregivers or psychosocial difficulties such as bullying, identity confusion, negative body image, self-esteem issues, and withdrawal. I am also experienced working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
